Any questions? mrwrightanswers@gmail.com
1. Wherever you are in the world, know where you are, travel with your eyes and your mind open, ask questions (in your own head at least) about what you see, hear and experience e.g. Why is it like that? How is it different? Could it be better? What might other people think about this?
2. You need to identify one issue you are interested in; it could be local, national or global. This could be something you notice as you travel or something you read / research about.
To get you thinking about geographical issues, here is the DP Geo Intro Flipboard.
When you have identified your issue, you need to decide which DP Geography concept it links to. - Place, Process, Power, Possibility
Add a post to this Padlet, (also seen below) including your name. Make sure you position it in the correct geographical location i.e. where you witnessed the issue.
This second task should take about 15 minutes of your holiday.
We will start class in August with a discussion around your holiday experiences and the issue you identify.
If you have any questions, let me know. Feel free to browse the DP Geo site, if you like, to get your head around what's coming.
