1. Look back at your SIDS example of the Comoros Islands, or another previous example you have looked at and research evidence of unsustainable touristic growth there. Make brief notes on this under the following headings;

• Stressor activities
• Environmental response

2. Write a paragraph on the sustainability of tourism in your chosen location USING THE LANGUAGE OF CARRYING CAPACITY. You will need to combine your notes with what is on the slide above.

3. Define sustainable tourism. Page 254 of the text book will help once you have tried to write your own.

4. You need a CASE STUDY of sustainable tourism in a low income country. Can you find an example of sustainable tourism in the same location you used in Question 1? If not, find another example.

4. How does sustainable tourism link to the SDGs? This document might help you make the connection. You will be allocated a chapter to look at.
